well... i never liked the armrest so i took it off from the original seats...i guess u didnt notice

i have my fire extinguisher there right now...

now im undecided if i should re upholster a 16v rear seat or just leave it out...and have a custom built roll cage....

I love those seats- great job DJ- are you going to put in four point harnesses or retain the stock belts? I dont know about the roll cage-might wait till you start running 12's in the 1/4 mile

Re: New Seats Finally Installed Corbeau

yeah no kiddin why the heck do you have a fire extinguisher in your 84 2.3?? also why would you get a ROLLCAGE?? i mean your car is cool and all for shows and stuff.
but having a fire extinguisher and especially a rollcage in a car that you dont race, or even do major engine mods to is kinda like slapping an AMG badge on a stock benz. no offense dude but isnt that what were always ripping on ricers for? Type R stickers on normal civics..... .bahhhh

I'm sure DJ's got something up his sleeve in the future. Turbo, V6, V8? He just wants the ride to be safe for when he does have the juice. And hey, does anybody else here have trophies for their rides?

I have an idea for the rear . . . roll cage, race fuel cells, and a fireplace and mantle for the trophies! Of course, that last item would be optional . . .

i guess u havent been in a carshow

yes most dont have hp and a handful do

turbo, supercharger, etc

whats wrong with a fire extinguisher?

ive seen a 190e go up in flames
only a firetruck put it out

the car could have been saved if he had a extinguisher

Re: New Seats Finally Installed Corbeau

hmm, DJ's in a snit . . . a sniff of the air detects the slight scent of diesel . . hmm . . .

In C&D, the reviewer of the 190E & D had this to say:

"The diesel is a diesel. Nothing more, nothing less. It is superbly quiet and well mannered as the breed goes, but it remains a curiosity for cranks who perhaps shouldn't be reading this magazine in the first place."

I have seen cars go up in flames at the track just idleing there in line- luckily most of them whipped out their extinguishers and put it out- its definitly a good idea.....even if you dont display it.

Re: New Seats Finally Installed Corbeau

dj man dont fuckin worry bout it..ppl are jus hatin

about u're audio/video thing definately go for it
as fabolous says
"they all asked for it'd ..so i put tv's in the headrests and the dashboard"

the fire extinguisher is cool as shit and i think every automobile should have a fire extinguisher...
i havnt read anywhere that fires can only start in cars with over 300HP ....either im not reading enough or some people are jus in a bad mood.

when u fill anything up with gallons and gallons of gas and try and control its burning rate...(a car) i think maybe some sort of fire break out prevension should be at hand...not to mention they look nice..

keep goin DJ...YOURRR MYYY HEROOO!!
