eightymesh | Re: 263 a/c a lot of "cast" aluminum products are made with a mixture of pots and pans , wheels,etc etc(no specific alloy) and can have lots of non metallic inclusions and can be a bugger to weld with a tig set up. a wire feeder is a bit less finnicky |
colo_nuggets | 263 a/c Is the housing of a 263 where the bolt holes are weldable? If so would some 4043 aluimnum rod tig welding work? Thanks Scott |
