NeilAK | Re: Alaskan gold junior prepares for production Supposedly there is is more than $10,000,000 in the old tailings pond. They set up a leach system to rerun it years ago and then shut down when the system was almost complete. I was there just before the last shutdown and it seemed like they were trying to cherry pick hot spots and couldn't come up with the ore. They have apparently done extensive drilling since then, but I have not heard much about that. |
jacksongold | Re: Alaskan gold junior prepares for production They say they are well funded and the 'cash costs' are $600/oz. Also that they will be opening in summer 2011. They say a lot of things when they want your money. What has been the problem with opening? Environmental,Political, economic or all of the above? |
kringle_mining | Re: Alaskan gold junior prepares prduction They have been trying to open Nixon Fork since 1996 there abouts. |
jacksongold | Alaskan gold junior prepares prduction Fire River Gold (FAU) is opening a new underground gold mine called The Nixon Fork Mine is summer. Someone said it might be a good stock to buy. I think it's about $0.50 now. Just wondering if anyone has any information about this mine or the area it's located in. I haven't bought any and really just dapple in the market. |
