BillA | Re: Congressman Warns: 'Those Who Can, Should Move Their Families Out of the Cit just who thinks they live in "the land of the free"? trading-over-counter-gold-and-silver-be-illegal-beginning-july-15 as the expression goes, you can't make this sh*t up Bill |
Seden | Re: Congressman Warns: 'Those Who Can, Should Move Their Families Out of the Cit Great, I work across the street from LA City Hall in beautiful downtown. I may need a LAPD escort to get to work and if it really hit the fan I could always catch a ride via helicopter as we have a helipad on top of my building. I do have a Simi Cop living on my street and my neighbors are armed to the teeth. Yippe yo kyi yay as Bruce Willis was known to say. Randy |
OldAuHead | Re: Congressman Warns: 'Those Who Can, Should Move Their Families Out of the Cit Plaese, City people, stay where you are, we don't want you out here in the country because you usually bring all your baggage, rules, regulations, codes, dogmatic ideas with you. Thank you Paul Bunyon:smile: |
BillA | Re: Congressman Warns: 'Those Who Can, Should Move Their Families Out of the Cit let me correct the title: Those Who Can, Should Move Their Families Out of the Country all good now (I now live in Costa Rica FWIW) Bill |

RUSTY_HAPPY_CAM | Re: Congressman Warns: 'Those Who Can, Should Move Their Families Out of the Cit Something for all Americans to think on. How far can officers go before you have a right to stop them? The type of abuse of power that that video talks about is happening all across the nation under the cover of news blackouts. Honest law abiding citizens are subjected Swat raids and ATF searches, many times because they got the wrong house. Sometimes because they use bad information in their haste. Whatever happened to your home is your castle? |
Traveller11 | Re: Congressman Warns: 'Those Who Can, Should Move Their Families Out of the Cit Rusty Scary to think that debt is becoming a crime again; possibly reviving the debtors' prisons of Merry Olde England. "Are there no prisons? Are there no workhouses?" ~~Ebenezer Scrooge from Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol"~~ |
Rattlesnake_Jim | Re: Congressman Warns: 'Those Who Can, Should Move Their Families Out of the Cit
Martial law would be the last thing you'd want! |
RUSTY_HAPPY_CAM | Re: Congressman Warns: 'Those Who Can, Should Move Their Families Out of the Cit Cub, I know it's not exactly martial law but it does give you an idea of what can happen if our government officers get too much power. http://www.realecontv.com/videos/government-corruption/debt-collection-swat-style-.html |
cubsqueal | Re: Congressman Warns: 'Those Who Can, Should Move Their Families Out of the Cit I have an unbelievably nice friend here on the central Oregon Coast who said he is the best prepared of all his neighbors as far as having arms to protect his family in the event of economic collapse and food shortages. So I said to him, "so you can take your neighbors' groceries away from them when tough times get here!" That part of the equation always seems to be the missing component in these "back to the land" discussions. Any thief or killer who will be starving will have the advantage by acting first in a confrontation over food. So will it be possible to even step out the front door without taking a bullet in the upper torso at some point? It would be kind of reassuring if there were some answers to these potential problems. Maybe martial law of some kind will be part of the answer. ??? |
