Re: So you want to prospect for diamonds? Jig's are interesting but pretty expensive to run so when you look into it further it is almost not worth the effort as it is very hands on and you need a lot of staff. Even then the Jig does not find all the stones. DD

Re: So you want to prospect for diamonds? Yes I can but it is very complicated to use the Pan and to explain it properly I have to stand next to one and show you. Very few people can actually run such a pan these days. DD

Re: So you want to prospect for diamonds? I don't know where you got sluicebox from DD but I was talking about using Jig's for recovery. Can you expound and give us a lesson on your statement below? "The only way to get your diamonds out of the ground is with the correct rotational PH wash plant and then you have to know how to operate one and if you make a mistake you will not find all your diamonds."

Re: So you want to prospect for diamonds? shaftsinkerawc Diamonds will not stay in a sluicebox as they are way to light and it will be on a rare occasion that you find diamonds in the same place as gold. Usually diamonds wash further downstream to the opposite side of the river. DD
