"The System" is totally corrupt. The "judicial" system exists solely to maintain those in power/money.
Look at prohibition/law and order. But the cure is not so obvious. Kill them all? So where does it stop? I'm glad I'm old. The republic was a good idea, but we blew it moving to a democracy. And even that was not sufficient, power corrupts. Not sure why I bother to post anymore, what makes any difference? Corrupt judges (and mining) are nothing new. Look at the history of Nome in the early 1900s.
