Hello all
Hello.Im looking for some info.seven or so years ago i spent a few weeks prospecting up in
alaska with the late Gene Bunkley{goldak}.Well now being retired im looking to spend all of next summer up there.Ive been trying to get ahold of his son Ken with no luck.Dose anyone here know if he still has the claims up on the stevees hwy.His claims were at about the 117mile mark.Any info on how to reach ken would be a big help.Thanks.Bill Maloney

I don't know if this is any help, but a quick online search of the Alaska State Recorder's files shows a Ken (Kenneth) Bunkley who sold some claims in 2009. (may or may not be the ones you are inquiring about) Also shows Ken's mailing add. if you scroll down to the bottem where the quit-claims are, click on one of them, and when it opens then click on "see image".

i bought his claims on butte 3 years ago he was still living in flordia. last i herd he was selling all of the claims in alaska.

I spent three weeks up the on the butte claim.Had a great time.and found a good amount of gold.Always thought when i retired id spend my summers up there.I have'nt talket to ken in about five years...Is there alittle homemade highbanker on the claim.if its still there.I made and gave it to Gene when i left.Bill
