Jr. High Banker / Clean-up sluices.

Two subjects here:

May be "nothing new here" -- again.

Jr. High Banker from California Sluice Box:

I am kind of intrigued by the descriptive content in this eBay ad:

Clean-up sluices from Prospectors' Choice:

Kind of an interesting website:

http://www.prospectorschoice.com/Clean-Up-Sluice.html

These sluices are currently on eBay:

Yes, Cubsqueal, "maybe nothing new" They look familiar to the sluice trays the guys on this forum helped me to design years ago, but then you have to check the archives. They also look like the most used sluice boxes on the Beach at Nome AK, Thats since Ive given over 2 dozen away to miners on the beach and have sold a few more to tourists. Some guys started using mine to direct runoff from their own beach boxes, then theyd pan out what was in my tray to check to see if their box was catching everything. It was shortly after that the switch was made where the sluice trays were on top and older style boxes were then used to catch runoff in tailings.Sluice trays are extremely easy to clean up and very mobile and easy to transport. These just arent mine,ha ha I only make equipment when Im not mining and Ive been mining more and more each year, making larger equipment yearly. Great Post, good gold to all, later Dan

California Sluice Company makes a little "bucket sluice" that I really like. It is cheap, about $30, but really works once you get the water flow right. I found gold in stuff that I had worked several times.
