My shipping container is already sealed, with my six, Miss Rumpelstiltskin and my truck, the Wanderlust. I didn't stick any lead in there. How hard is it to find lead in Nome? Should I bring a mold, or just wear forty pounds on the flight and tell homeland security's TSA that these belts are in style now-a-days and everybody's wearing em?

Well, nobody picked up on this so here's some info. There are no scrap yards with a quantity of scrap lead set aside, in Nome.I have seen black sand used for weights in belt pouches here.

Sounds like you better ship yourself a "flat rate" box or two- General Delivery. HH Mark

Well I'll be, I had guessed there was a ton-o-scrap yonder..
I guess I'll be putting on a little weight for the flight.... Thanks for the response(s). |

Find an old battery and cannibalize for the lead. Wash it and pound into usable weights.

Hmmm... I didn't even think about it, I'm gonna have to ship my belt separate too.. I wonder if they pick up on the lead during inspection through the sniffers and x-ray and haz-mat risk pull packages with lead? I am shipping the things I need via pallet freight.. It could be best to ship in its own package alone. I'm gonna have to play it safe and send it solo via fed-ex...God bless good mining...

A couple of fixed rate mail boxes to your name at general delivery Nome will fix you right up.
