Tough times go smaller.

I'm thinking about buying one of these and Derocker-Trommel and Haul truck and front-end loader for my small placer claim, Wonder if the USFS would pitch a fit about this...LOL! All Electric.

Only thing needed 4 lawn chairs and a case of beer.

LOL Well... I was dumb enough to watch 3/4 of the video before I realized it was a scaled down D11, but if a guy had one he could move some material by lawn chair instead of shovel and wheelbarrow while sipping a cool one.

Re: Tough times go smaller.

Nice idea about sitting in the lawn chair, but your not going to be very productive if your butt isn't in the operator's seat. A good operator uses all his senses to run and your butt is one of those sensors! HA HA
Next, comes a good laser.

Re: Tough times go smaller.

I have been fortunate I have a level in my butt and operated dozers building road, some fellas just cant feel as good with the butts as some of us can...LOL...and yes lawn chair mining will not pay the bills for a company operation. This application would only fit the weekend camper, gotta be close to a battery charger.
