Clearly the LEOs weren't up on their law.
4 uniformed officers, led by a sargent was a show of force. For what or why wasn't told. Did the video camera incapacitate the badges and sworn duties? Discretion and good judgement by the commander saved the squad to be redeployed to worse problems. I do agree with your parallel example of small-scale miners and our dwindling rights. One miner at a time who receives that volume of intimidation normally will surrender his rights just because it's the path of least resistance. But that's wrong. Rights are worth defending.. |
