MechaGodzilla, soaring along at mach 1, spotted Space Godzilla in the distance, along with another monster, and knew this was his next destination. He began slowing down, and touched down about 200 meters from his new opponent. A titanic, gargoyle-esque monster with a tough exoskeleton, spiked knees, and broad wings. The creature can spew a deadly micro-oxygen beam from its mouth, the properties of which it can also modify, to make different types of blasts(note: like the Oxygen Absorber). It can also generate a long, searing laser blade from the horn atop its head, and discharge energy through its tail. It originated as a colony of microscopic, pre-Cambrian crustaceans, revived as a result of the effects of the deadly Oxygen Destroyer used to kill the very first Godzilla in 1954. Those crustaceans rapidly evolved into man-sized beasts, and then into a single, gigantic monster with the addition of a pair of crab-like arms. This creature could transform between its aggregated form, and a flying form for more rapid transition between places. The form MechaGodzilla was looking at now, was its final, most powerful form, the one that killed Godzilla's son and nearly proved too strong for even the king's might, but also finally fell to Meltdown Godzilla's nuclear wrath. The demon's name: Destroyer, or Destoroyah.

Destroyer glared at the robotic titan before him, unimpressed. Mecha's compassionless gaze was equally cold. The two towering monsters appraised each other for a moment, preparing to battle. MechaGodzilla sincerely hoped the city had been evacuated, because he could see that this was going to be a rough ride...

*Destroyah spies the new kaiju that just entered the city, it looks vaguely familiar like someone he has fought before, but something is different. No matter, every kaiju Destroyah meets must battle for survival.

Destroyah shieks out a challenge to the newcomer and charges forward. As Destroyah reaches his target, he swings his tail around and clobbers Mechagodzilla on the left side of its torso with immense force sending the mechanized behemoth crashing to the ground. Destroyah then raises his foot and is about to stomp on the fallen kaiju's head.*

I hope its okay I started, I forgot that the ref hadn't officially started the match yet...:ohwellyellow:

Well, exsqueeze me, you never replied to my PM.

MechaGodzilla saw the massive, clawed foot thrust down toward his face. His left side had suffered a noticeable ding from where Destroyer's tail struck, but that was about all the effect it had. And Destroyer would soon wish it carried more effect.

The diamond-coated terminator quickly brought his hands up to intercept Destroyer's foot. The titanic, gargoyle-like demon scowled and pressed down, fighting against MechaGodzilla's arms. Their struggle didn't last long, however, as Mecha leaned as far to the right as he could(his right; I'll assume you used your right foot), opened his mouth and let loose with his mega buster ray, striking Destroyer's face. The beast screeched in pain as the energy poured on, blinding him and scorching his face and upper torso.

Mecha sensed the pressure upon his hands weaken. He finally stopped firing the mega buster and pushed Destroyer's foot off. Unable to keep his balance, the 'godson' of Dr. Serizawa fell onto his back(no damage).

MechaGodzilla leaned forward and activated his thrusters, hovering to his feet. Wasting no time, the robot locked on to the fallen Destroyer, and - *P-SHEW-P-SHEW-P-SHEW-P-SHEW* - unleashed a salvo of missiles from the launchers in his shoulders. The projectiles screamed through the air, aimed to smash into Destroyer's face and torso. With his vision still somewhat impaired from the mega buster, he was going to have a tough time finding a way around this attack...

Edit: Almost forgot...how many rounds will we be fighting, and will there be a mid-match report?

*Destroyah, sensing he is in imminent danger, quickly fires an Oxygen Absorber in the direction of the missiles. The Oxygen Absorber sucks the missiles towards it, the missiles crash into each other and explode. Destroyah still feels some of the force of the explosion but the damage isn't as bad as a direct hit would have been.

Destroyah slowly gets up and screeches angrily at Mechagodzilla, he'll pay for that last assault. Destroyah uses his Horn Katana to slice a huge chunk out of a nearby skyscrapper, nearly causing the structure to collapse. Destroyah then charges towards Mechagodzilla and grabs the mechanical kaiju, the two grapple for a moment, but Destroyah manages to lift Mechagodzilla off his feet. Destroyah begins to spin Mechagodzilla around building momentum, he releases his grip on his adversary and Mechagodzilla is sent crashing into the skyscrapper that Destroyah had damaged earlier. Upon impact, the building collapses on top of Mechagodzilla burying it under a pile of rubble. Destroyah then fires his micro-oxygen beam at the pile of rubble.

MechaGodzilla lay patiently under the rubble.....suddenly, a powerful attack blew away the debris concealing him: the deadly micro-oxygen beam that was Destroyer's staple weapon.

Mecha continued to lay low, until the oxygen-destroying torrent ceased. His back got nicked by part of the beam, and suffered a noticeable scorch mark, but the damage was mostly cosmetic.

The robot pushed forcefully off the ground with his hands, thrusting himself to a standing position. His armor was starting to lose its luster, now possessing a score of dings and scrapes, in addition to the burn mark.

Destroyer shrieked, taunting the mechanical titan. Mecha did not respond as he calmly looked his foe over...what should he do next? That exoskeleton was pretty tough, capable of holding up against Godzilla's claws...there were few vulnerable areas on his body.

...But just because they were few didn't necessarily mean they were well-hidden.

Mecha decided on his next move. Quickly and smoothly raising his arms, he fired both shock cables...toward the membranes of Destroyer's wings. The gargoyle grunted in pain as the cables lodged in his wings, thin trickles of green blood starting to flow from their entry points. MechaGodzilla then seemed to smirk cruelly as he activated the electrical charge.

No matter how tough his exoskeleton was, it could not spare him from this attack. Destroyer screeched in agony, jerking and spasming involuntarily as the powerful electricity surged through every fiber of his body.

After about fifteen seconds, Mecha finally stopped electrocuting Destroyer, and withdrew the cables. Still twitching and jerking, Destroyer fell onto his back again, almost without knowing it.

MechaGodzilla was already on the move, quickly walking over to his enemy's prone body. Curls of smoke lazily wafted from the demon's exoskeleton. Mecha reached down and wrapped his arms about the end of his enemy's tail, taking care not to touch the tip. He then planted himself as firmly as possible, and began rotating his torso around in circles. Faster and faster, building momentum, he was soon slinging Destroyer in rapid circles. His lower body remained unmoving, while his head turned to and fro, searching for a target to hurl his opponent into.

He decided on another skyscraper, like the one he himself had gotten chucked into moments before. He finally released Destroyer, sending him hurtling headfirst toward the base of the building...

*Destroyah tries to gain control over his trajectory, but is unable to avoid crashing into the skyscrapper. Destroyah slams into the skyscrapper, luckily the building doesn't collapse on top of him, but Destroyah is momentarily dazed. Destroyah sits up and waits for his head to clear up before getting back onto his feet.

Destroyah takes off into the air and flies towards Mechagodzilla, he grabs Mechagodzilla in mid flight(no damage) and begins to climb higher into the sky. Destroyah keeps ascending until he is high above the city. Destroyah then grins evily at Mechagodzilla and cackles loudly before unleashing a powerful blast of Micro-oxygen breath into Mechagodzilla's face. After a few seconds of this, Destroyah releases his grip on Mechagodzilla and uses his Micro-oxygen breath blast to increase Mechagodzilla's rate of descent. Destroyah watches as Mechagodzilla plummets towards the ground, Mechagodzilla will have to react quickly to avoid smashing into the city below...

You were smart to propel me with your micro-oxygen...but you said it yourself: the reflexes of a machine are well above those of any organic.

MechaGodzilla knew he didn't have much time before he smashed into the ground below...and at the speed he was going, he knew it would hurt.

Acting quickly, the machine fired up his boosters and regained control. He pulled up as hard as possible, avoiding crashing into the street, then flew straight up toward Destroyer. The dark red and maroon beast braced itself, anticipating its mechanical adversary...

As Mecha approached...suddenly, he looked above Destroyer and fired a burst of his eye lasers. Destroyer instinctively backed up a bit, and glanced up after the beams. He was distracted only for a moment...

...But that moment was all MechaGodzilla needed. Diving slightly, he flew down underneath Destroyer, then pulled up and turned toward his enemy.

Destroyer looked back down...and MechaGodzilla had suddenly vanished. The crimson titan's eyes seemed to screw up a bit in confusion as he looked around, trying to find his adversary.

He didn't need to look for much longer, though; Mecha suddenly grabbed him by the shoulders from behind, and began flying down toward the city full speed, at a 45-degree angle. Destroyer shrieked in surprise...and that surprise soon turned to fear as he saw that he was being driven down toward the street, fast. He roared in anger and fear as he realized what was soon to happen...

Indeed: MechaGodzilla brutally smashed the demon face-first into the ground, and proceeded to drag Destroyer face-first through the city streets. Muffled screeches of pain were heard as Destroyer's tough hide ground against the unforgiving asphalt, forcibly renovating the Seattle roadways. His wings and tail thrashed about wildly as he futilely tried to stop MechaGodzilla.

Block after block, intersection after intersection.....at last, Destroyer stopped struggling and screaming. Mecha took that as a sign that maybe he'd had enough, and pulled up from the ruined streets, still holding onto his enemy. He gradually slowed to a stop, then knelt on top of Destroyer's left wing, pinning it to the ground. Grabbing the fins on both sides of the monster's head, MechaGodzilla lifted the freak's face and then thrust it down forcefully, attempting to repeatedly bash Destroyer's face in against the cold, hard ground...

*Destroyah twists his body free from Mechagodzilla's grip and uses his tail to trip his foe. Mechagodzilla falls flat on its face and Destroyah get back on his feet.

Destoryah is furious now, he grabs Mechagodzilla and smashes its head against his spikey knees several times, then he drops Mechagodzilla back onto the ground. Destroyah then powers up his Horn Katana to maximum strength and is about to impale the back of Mechagodzilla's neck.

Payback was indeed a bitch. MechaGodzilla's head was dented, scraped, even breached in one or two spots(though thankfully, his eyes lasers still worked), and misshapen in general.

Now Mecha was face-down on the ground. Unbeknownst to him, Destroyer had activated his deadly laser blade, and was about to skewer the robot's neck.

But even if he didn't know what was going on, MechaGodzilla knew by now that Destroyer intended to...well, destroy him. And he(Mecha) wasn't going to just sit around and await whatever manner of pain the dark-red demon had devised.

The machine forced himself to roll...but instead of rolling away from Destroyer, he rolled toward him. The lethal blade pierced the ground a scant meter from Mecha's neck.

MechaGodzilla rolled right into Destroyer's legs. Destroyer, not expecting the sudden evasive maneuver, was taken by surprise, and started to stumble forward...but before he could hit the ground, something caught him...no, two things. Cold things. Hard things. Strong things.

Mecha's arms.

Without missing a beat, Mecha slowly stood up, bench-pressing the mountainous monster. Activating his thrusters again, he flew straight up...slowly, weighed down by Destroyer's ample bulk, but steadily. Once he hit 1000 meters, he did a U-turn and zoomed straight down toward the ground, rapidly accelerating. He shifted his grip to Destroyer's broad waist so that gravity wouldn't pull the red and maroon monster out of his grasp.

Destroyer screeched as he realized he was about to get plowed into the ground again...but MechaGodzilla was not content to simply smash him into the asphalt, and began rotating his upper body around, faster and faster, still holding on to his enemy. They somewhat resembled a titanic power drill...with Destroyer playing the part of the drill bit. And they were about to do some more construction work.

They finally impacted the ground. Destroyer screamed and struggled helplessly as he drilled into the ground, feeling his armor scrape away. Traces of blood began appearing in the wake of his head, as the back of the fins on the sides of his head had been breached.

Once they had dug 50 meters into the ground, MechaGodzilla finally stopped spinning his upper body, satisfied with the damage he had done. If it could have, his mouth would have curved into a wicked smile.

Standing up and firing his boosters again, he took to the air again, hovering half-in, half-out of the hole Destroyer lay in.

*SHOOM*! Mecha's maw flew open, and the mega buster ray seared down toward Destroyer, aimed to dance along his face and upper body...

*Destroyah quickly fires his micro-oxygen beam to intercept the mega buster ray, the two beams of energy collide and cause an explosion. The force produced by the explosion pushes Mechagodzilla out of the hole but does no damage to the robot. Destroyah clambers out of the crater created by his opponents last attack. He must find a way to do more damage to his metallic foe.

Destoyah leaps into the air and flies around behind Mechagodzilla, Destroyah grabs hold of Mechagodzilla around its chest and flies up into the air. Destroyah begins to fly circles around the city building up speed, faster and faster until he reaches his top speed. Destoyah then flies closer to the ground and uses Mechagodzilla to mow down the tops of the city's buildings. Destroyah continues until he has mowed down several blocks.

Destroyah then climbs higher into the sky until he is flying 500 meters above the Space Needle, then he dives towards the Space Needle. Destroyah picks up speed as he dives towards the target, then when he is 50 meters above the Space Needle, Destroyah releases Mechagodzilla and pulls out of the dive. Destroyah cackles as his opponent is about to be impaled on the Space Needle.

Mecha could tell that this was going to be a rough ride...he had just been used as a lawnmower by the sadistic Destroyer to plow through the tops of several of the city's buildings, and was now less than 50 meters above the Space Needle, about to plow down into it and probably end up impaled.

But rough rides were just the kind of rides MechaGodzilla enjoyed.

Reacting quickly, Mecha grasped the tip of the Space Needle in his hands, firing his boosters again to slow his descent. Unable to endure the strain, the tip of the Needle broke off in Mecha's hands.

Destroyer scowled, upset by the failure of his attack. But now he had a bigger problem: MechaGodzilla had recovered, and was now wielding the top of the Space Needle.

Turning to face his adversary, the machine began to whirl his torso in quick circles, not moving his head or lower body. Destroyer braced himself, expecting his enemy to hurl the chunk of the Space Needle at him...

...

Nothing happened for a full minute. Destroyer warily lowered his guard, wondering what the robot was up to.

Bad mistake. With no warning, Mecha finally released the tip of the Space Needle. As fast as his torso was whirling by that point, Destroyer had virtually no time to react before the chunk of building smashed into his face. He screeched in pain and fell out of the air...

...But was caught by MechaGodzilla before he could hit the ground. He started spinning his torso in circles again, faster and faster, holding on to the dazed Destroyer...and finally let him go, sending him hurtling face-first toward the remainder of the Space Needle...

*As Destroyah hurtles towards the remains of the tower he manages to turn his body around so he is going feet first towards the tower. As he makes contact with the tower he kicks off the ruined structure and flies straight towards Mechagodzilla.

Destroyah energizes his Horn Katana as he speeds forward to clash with Mechagodzilla. Destroyah slams into Mechagodzilla and his Horn Katana punctures the middle of Mechagodzilla's chest, as Destroyah continues along his flight path, the Horn Katana drags upwards along Mechagodzilla's chest and neck before Destroyah finally passes by. Destroyah, now above Mechagodzilla, turns around and fires an Oxygen Absorber at Mechagodzilla before descending to land several blocks away.

Damn, that laser blade was powerful. All Destroyer needed now was the Force, and he could pass for a Jedi Knight.

Now, MechaGodzilla was being drawn up toward a unique type of blast, that absorbed oxygen with incredible force, to draw targets toward it. When they made contact, it exploded violently...the Oxygen Absorber.

Mecha had never seen this type of attack before...but whatever it was, he had no intention of making contact with it. Kicking on his thrusters, he tried to counteract the powerful suction...but he was still creeping steadily closer toward it. Destroyer seemed to smirk cruelly, anticipating the damage his enemy would suffer.

No choice; MechaGodzilla fired a burst of his mega buster. The Oxygen Absorber exploded, forcing him toward the ground. Reacting quickly, he thrust his upper body forward, to land on his feet. His armor had taken some slight concussive trauma from the force of the explosion, but it was better than being right on top of the thing when it went off.

Now...how to attack? He still had some missiles left, but seeing how the first volley had been wasted, Mecha wanted to wait for a better opportunity to use them.

Hm...Destroyer's armor looked like it had been weakened and worn a bit from when he was dragged through the streets and drilled into the ground...

MechaGodzilla decided on his next attack. Whipping his arms up, he launched his shock cables at two spots in Destroyer's armor that had been worn thin. The gargoyle grunted as the cables lodged in his rocky hide...

...And that grunt soon turned into a shrill scream of agony as the powerful electricity surged through him again. His claws groped at the ends of the cables, trying to get them out, but his efforts were in vain. The cables would only come out when MechaGodzilla retracted them.

Taking his ends of the cables in his hands, Mecha loosed a cold, metallic screech - his way of saying "GET OVER HERE!" - and yanked hard on the cables, causing Destroyer to stumble toward him.(hey, I had to pay homage to Scorpion sooner or later)

Moving swiftly, MechaGodzilla retracted the cables, stooped down while activating his thrusters, then pushed off the ground with his feet, quickly accelerating to mach 1, aimed to smash shoulder-first into the still-stumbling Destroyer's face...

*As Mechagodzilla speeds towards Destroyah at Mach 1, Destroyah falls flat on his face. Mechagodzilla misses Destroyah's face and instead Mechagodzilla trips over Destroyah as he lays on the ground. Mechagodzilla was moving at Mach 1, so he flies a couple blocks before landing on the ground.

Destroyah gets back on his feet and turns towards Mechagodzilla who is also getting back on his feet. Destroyah charges towards Mechagodzilla and punches him in the chest, where he was damaged earlier by Destroyah's Horn Katana, causing Mechagodzilla to stumble backwards. Destroyah fires his Micro-oxygen breath at Mechagodzilla's chest in an attempt to fry its internal circuitry.

MechaGodzilla, though still reeling from the blow to the chest, saw the deadly micro-oxygen searing toward him. He knew how powerful it was now, and had no intention of being hit by it again if he could help it.

His mouth flew open again, and the mega buster leapt out to meet the spiraling, oxygen-destroying lance. The two energies met halfway and exploded violently, forcing the two titans further apart.

Taking advantage of the confusion, Mecha quickly fired his thrusters again, stooped down, and kicked off the ground, charging at mach 1 toward Destroyer.

The beast shook its head and began to search for its adversary...and it didn't have to look for long; Mecha suddenly burst through the cloud of smoke, leaning back and bringing his feet up.

*SMASH*! MechaGodzilla landed a powerful kangaroo kick to Destroyer's face, nearly knocking the monster ass over teakettle. Destroyer landed on his back, stunned. Mecha immediately righted himself and turned around, hovering over Destroyer's prone form. The robot grabbed the gargoyle by the shoulders, roughly hauled him to his feet, spun him around so that he was facing away from MechaGodzilla, then abruptly turned and brought him up over his shoulder with a powerful heave, like he were going to do an over-the-shoulder throw. Instead of throwing him, though, Mecha quickly shifts his grip to Destroyer's head fans, and attempts to slam the demon down belly-first upon a nearby cluster of buildings...

*Destroyah uses his tail and pulls Mechagodzilla's legs out from under him, Mechagodzilla falls backwards and releases his grip on Destroyah. Destroyah turns to face Mechagodzilla as the technological titan falls flat on his back.

Destroyah leap up into the air and flies 100 meters above the spot where Mechagodzilla is laying on his back, Destroyah hovers for a moment and then lets himself fall. Destroyah slams down on top of Mechagodzilla with such force that it is driven several meters into the ground. As Destroyah sits on top of Mechagodzilla, he grabs a nearby building and intends to smash it into Mechagodzilla's face.

Destroyer seems to smile through his pain as he prepares to smash his building into powder and kindling over the seemingly complacent MechaGodzilla's head.

Then, with no warning, two bright yellow, concentrated beams of energy blast from the robot's optics, striking Destroyer in his own face. He shrieks in pain as more nasty burns are left by the lasers, and the injuries already there are seriously agitated. The titan drops the building, groping at his face.

MechaGodzilla catches the building before it lands on him, then fires his thrusters, pulling himself out from under Destroyer and causing the blinded savage to fall onto his back(no damage). Mecha hovers to his feet, standing over his fallen enemy, then rears back a bit and hurls the building like a dodgeball, down toward Destroyer's torso...

*Destroyah quickly rolls to one side, the building crashes down onto the ground just barely missing Destroyah. Destroyah gets back on his feet and screeches angrily at Mechagodzilla, who just stares silently back at him.

Destroyah tackles Mechagodzilla and pins it to the ground(no damage), then Destroyah powers up his Horn Katana and stabs it through Mechagodzilla's stomach. Destroyah removes his horn from Mechagodzilla's stomach and then gets off of his opponent. Next Destroyah fires his Micro-oxygen beam at Mechagodzilla intending to sweep the beam up across Mechagodzilla's torso and head.

Destroyer should have stayed atop his enemy. MechaGodzilla forced himself to roll away, and the deadly micro-oxygen splashed the ground scant meters from him. Wasting no time, the automaton climbed to his feet and locked on to his foe, then unleashed his final volley of missiles.

Destroyer howled in pain and anger as the powerful projectiles exploded against his tough hide, leaving scores of burn marks from the explosions. He was forced to give ground.

Mecha noticed that he was stumbling back toward another skyscraper, and decided to put it to use. Turning his head, he fired his mega buster ray at the base of the structure. The foundation was quickly blown to bits, and the whole structure began to fall toward the reeling Destroyer...

I think now you just have to say whether or not my second attack connects, MKG, and then Drag will pass final judgment. It was a good match.

*As Destroyah stumbles backwards towards the falling skyscrapper, he pushes off with his left foot and dives to the right. The skyscrapper falls, but only some stray bits of rubble fall on Destroyah, the majority of the building crashes to the ground without harming him.

It was a pleasure to battle you, MKG.

MechaGodzilla glared dispassionately at Destroyer. He was done beating around the bush; it was time to end this.

Firing his thrusters full blast, the machine kicked off the ground and blasted toward the gargoylian(is that even a word?) demon. Whirling his lower body around, he hurled a powerful roundhouse kick into the monster's face; a mixture of spit and blood, along with a tooth, flew from Destroyer's mouth as he was knocked to the ground on his side.

Hovering to the ground, Mecha reached down and grabbed Destroyer by the shoulders, roughly hoisting the beast to his feet. He decided to give this creature the same treatment he had given Gamera in his previous battle. Destroyer screeched defiantly and struggled in MechaGodzilla's grasp, but the diamond-coated behemoth would not let go.

Mustering as much energy as he could gather into his eye lasers, Mecha fired the twin beams full power into Destroyer's eyes. The searing lances of light burned through the gargoyle's eyes, roasting the monster's brain to a crisp.

Destroyer shuddered and convulsed weakly, as a foul, greenish mixture of saliva and blood dribbled from the corner of his mouth...and then he was no more.

Compassionlessly, MechaGodzilla tossed his defeated enemy to the street, seeming to sigh wearily. He looked in Space Godzilla's direction and screeched, then lifted off and flew toward G-Force headquarters for repairs, in preparation for his next battle.
