I make a few different variations of these pastries and they are delicious
![]() you will need: Puff pastry sheets Spinache Ricotta cheese Shredded tasty cheese Diced ham Chopped chives Salt and pepper To make: add all the ingredients in the blender, add salt and pepper to taste and blend it up till you get a discusting looking green paste, be careful not to make it too sloppy as it will bust out once in the oven. Lay out your pastry sheets and cut them in half horizontaly, smear some of the mixture down the middle of your half sheet and fold it over length ways overlapping slightly... be careful not to add too much mixture as it will burst out. then cut the folded filled sheet twice diagonaly so you end up with diamond shaped pastries and make sure you close the ends ![]() Bake in the oven at about 200 degrees for about 20 - 25 minutes (varies between different ovens) and enjoy ![]() I dont use specific measurements, so just add the ingredients to your tastes... you can replace some of the ingredients eg: instead of ham use bacon, instead of ricotta use fetta, instaed of spinache use steamed brussel sprouts (I prefer brussel sprouts to spinache, so much more flavour) I also like to add a bit of parmesan cheese but like I said, adjust it to your taste ![]() note: Before you add your steamed/boiled spinache or brussel sprouts, be sure to squeese out excess water so the mix isnt too sloppy. | ||||
