We usually get ummmm I can't remember the name of it now..... it's not cos or iceberg lettuce but a much nicer one. I'll have to take notice when we go shopping next. It has really dark green leaves if that helps & it usually has all the roots & dirt still attached Ummm I think I'll go now......
I usually buy the iceberg lettuce - but mum has the cos and all these other varieties of lettuce in her garden that we have often.
Also when I have people over for dinner I like to buy the gourmet mix with the rocket leaves and baby spinach leave

I buy baby greens at the produce stand. They are very good! If I can't make it to the produce stand or want a change, I usually buy romaine.

Well I have a butter lettuce and a cos in the fridge right now. I tried some of the cos yesterday and that seems like it would be pretty good for salads as angie told me once. I have yet to try the butter lettuce.
Oh I think that's the one I buy! Butter lettuce...I was thinking butternut before but that's a pumpkin LOL

lol Linda... I still havnt worked out which lettuce I usally use... maybe its Roma, but thats a tomatoe isnt it.. I better shut my mouth before I offend someone
