Breads
We've just changed our supply of bread thanks to the newly created local Bakers delight. So our standard thing now is to get 3 loaves of bread and 6 rolls for $8.50 and I always make sure the third loaf of bread is unsliced to keeep it fresher for longer.

I just buy the cheap bread from Bilo, 5 loaves for $6.00. And i freeze it to keep it fresh.

i also freeze my bread - plus the fact - my brothers friend delivers bread and everweek brinhs me 3/4 loaves. I love making the kids sandwiches int he summer with frozen bread as it keeps it fresher longer

Just out of curiousity, how much freezer space does everyone have - I'd be lucky to fit one loaf of bread in my freezer with everything else in there. Although I reckon if we had the room a freezer chest would be great!

We had to get a freezer chest...we have an upside down fridge that has a fair amount of space but not enough. It's great so that I can stock up on all the specials & buy meat in bulk.

I have a full upright freezer plus the freezer compartment of my fridge which is quiet large and I have another fridge/freezer in the garage that we keep our drinks in.

Im with Ang... I have full upright freezer plus my small freezer compartment in my fridge.
I dont freeze my bread though, Im going to the shop just about everyday for milk so while Im there I grab a loaf of bread too. I love the bakers delight bread and there delicious cheese and spinache twists ...mmm... but I usually get "up, high fibe + calcium" or "up, omega3"
