Re: Shampoo

I'm with angie on this one - I pretty much buy whatever's on special from Decore, to Herbal Essences, to Hairdressers Formula very occassionally to Garnier Fructis (the flavour of the month so to speak). Just to give you an example of how I operate - when I go in and see a big discount like $2.50 - $3.75 off a bottle or so - I buy about 16 bottles or so of the shampoo and conditioner - usually about 7 of shampoo and 9 of conditioner. With my hair I can never have enough conditioner.
Anyway, it lasts me long enough that buy the time I get close to needing more I usually get the same deal again the next time.I imagine if I ever cut my hair short though it will be a different story.
Oh and Leigh - I don't get on with Pantene either - it makes my head feel more oily early.
The kids use something like Palmolive I think it is??? All I know is it comes in Buzzy Bee Honey and Green Apple Crocodile. Both of my girls have had problems with shampoos in the past but they have had no problems with these 2.

Re: Shampoo

I use that one too and I like it even though the bottle is small. At least you can keep the conditioner bottle upside down without it falling over which you can't do with other bigger bottles. I always have trouble getting the last bit of conditioner out.

Ok now you know I must ask since I'm uncultured....is Aussie really from Australia? If so, is it popular there?

I just know it cleans my hair gently but gets it clean :hehe:

They have a whole line of products here. They are called Aussie because they are filled with ingredients from Australia. They were made by an American who visited Australia & was inspired to create the "3-Minute Miracle" conditioner. The company eventually made a whole line of products.

Re: Shampoo

My :2c:...

You shouldnt use Pantene - the reason it makes your hair *shiny* (read: greasy) is coz it coats your hair with ickie stuff - thats also what makes it seem fuller and heavier, therefor easier to manage - but really unhealthy.

Disgusting stuff!!! Dont even wash my horse in it  and thats saying something.

Schwarzkopf is the best on the shelf in the supermarkets - I find there leave in Shine Treatment gorgeous as you dont need conditioner at all.

I used to spend $30 a bottle on shampoo and conditioner, now I just buy S'kopf.

My hubbie bought over some Shampoo by that "Paul Mitchell" and it bragged about being made with "Australian Tea Tree".

I can't imagine spending $30 ($20.57US) on one bottle of shampoo. That would have to be one BIIIIIIIIIIG bottle of shampoo for me to spend that kind of money.

Ahhh yes, I know all about that with the Pantene. Definitely no fly-aways when covered in gunk.
Dreadful stuff when your hair is 2.5 feet long.
