Bugger. It's a bit of a way for a meander and a looksee. Will report if I do though

Re: Woolwash

Hi
I know it has been awhile since this question was posted but I though I would reply.
I live in the us now and have took up climbing recently. I went home for family christmas and checked out the woolwash area.
1) It is fairly dodgy area so i would not leave a fancy car there.
2) the climbing area looks like it has had no traffic for many years.
But the site is pretty damn good. If someone was to develop the site it would be a great climbing stop. Some of the boundering of the first wall you come across is a bit dangerous as there is only a couple of feet to another fall. The main area has some overly sandy rock for a few but there are some fantastic black and tan sandstone. The bounders have some real nice climbs which would take a couple of minutes to clear off the cobwebs and get on. It is also a very pretty bit of bush land.

I hope it gets rediscovered and developed!

Re: Woolwash

JJDisco,
They will probably just do a dodgy job of breaking into your dodgy car ... you know, using a crowbar or something with similar finess.
