How good is the Caltex At Mt Vic.

Caltex at Mt Vic. is recognised as the first and last stop for hungry climbers in the blue mountains.

The ultimate climbers challenge is to finish their mixed grill. (its massive) They have a great dinner that is open 24 hours on weekdays.

Proudly smashed 1.2 mixed grills and 1/2 a carton in 1 sitting, looking to break into the 2 grill club soon...

Toasted Rissole Sambo is the shit. I was so full after eating one of these I did not tick anything all day on Friday, and I Satdy ticked nothing either 'cause Mad Taff made me drink 400 schooners on friday night @ the MtVic with the bikies. Could not tick on Sunday cause the war was on in the shire.

what a productive weekend of tickage !!

That 0.2 of my mixed grill was the anchors, he couldent handle the load.

Rissoles are not ticking food bundy, i have been studying the diet of one ticker and believe that a diet of chalk, chickos and sausage rolls is the required diet. also to crank you must wear jeans.

I think your right Mr Kaz. My diet of rissoles and beer has resulted in no ticks for the past month. What does Adski eat ?? He seems to be ticking too much these days..

Re: How good is the Caltex At Mt Vic.

as for the riots down at cronulla, it seems as if it's another case of the media getting the facts wrong and unashamed sensationalism.

the record needs to be set straight. yes, there was a riot, but it had nothing with surfers Vs westies, race or religion, or just a bunch of dickheads getting on the piss.

the real reason thousands were down at cronulla, in such an emotionally charged state, was over Lean Beef. the most 'uber' of uber classics at bonnet bay.
the quality of the route is unquestioned, but there are some people who feel that's its a bit soft for 24.

this has divided the community. with some fearing a possible downgrade, this has resulted in behaviour not seen since the 1920's, when tom uglys bridge was built over the georges river, which allowed the rest of the city, and other outsiders, a quick and easy way into the shire.

now you have the facts you can make your own mind up over this highly contentious issue.

I wish the war would end.

I'm getting shitty about having all these boards on my windows and police sirens outside my door. It's like living in a ghetto.

there's so many candy lights outside my house I almost mistakenly bought an ice cream of a police man.

try dropping in on me on a 2.2 meter craft that goes like the clappers, with a big paddle that has a swat stikka on one blade and the words "F#$K off surfer" on the other.

I've never been brethalised on the wave ski either. probably a good thing.

Re: How good is the Caltex At Mt Vic.

So it's true then, you do actually ride a goat boat. Geeze mate, that really isn't something you should admit to on a public forum. Trying to say you are a tough as hardman goatboater is only making things worse mate. You may as well join white tights and take up extreme abseiling.

All I can say is, duckdive, oh wait thats right you can't ha ha.When I was a grom and still surfing waves that were acceptably small and weak for goatboating we used to love the sight of them all getting cleaned up and washed by those "monster" 1ft sets.

Once again DOD, I look forward to dropping in.

Re: How good is the Caltex At Mt Vic.

duck diving is for ducks. I just do the eskimo role dude. I never have problems getting out.

Then I watch all the stupid surfers follow me around, cause they know I can see the sets rolling in before they can, and I can get on them faster. It's nice sitting out the back 20 meters away from all the idiots, picking up the waves before anyone else.

sometimes,,, for a joke. I kinda fake it, that there is a set comming in and start paddling in one direction. All the grom's start paddling that way!! (idiots), then I just paddle back the other way and leave all the groms for dead...!!!!!,, haaaaaa ha ha ha ha!!

(laird is the only person in the world who can ride one and still be cool) how could you?! i feel betrayed. now im going to go sulk and fondle my six-o and remember the good times we've had running over clubbies and greedy ski-punks

Yeah DOD, it is funny how easy it is to create a paddling frenzy, especially on a day with any kind of size, when all the punters are a bit on edge.

Now, back to the Mt Vic Caltex, I have yet to stop there but now I am intrigued, maybe this weekend, bring on the mixed grill.
