Just saw Lord of the rings yesterday, and noticed in the opening since when they are chasing the baddies (orcs?), they were running through what lloked ike good bouldering rocks. Since it was shot in NZ, anyone know the location and if there is climbing/bouldering there?

It is located in the South Island called Castle Hill. Near Christchurch.
You can go onto www.climb.co.nz to find more about it. It is the mecca for Boulders in New Zealand. Also can go to http://www.powerband.org.nz/powerband/ for more info about it. Mark |
