Septic Penguins at Narrabeen Steep Side now has a single permanent sling and steel biner as a lower off. However the tree the sling is attached to is now dead. I assume there were too many people rapping off the tree, as suggested by the guide. BB's (if being consistent with the original setup is seen to be important) or lower offs needed.
There's a new FH with a non SS dynabolt on the top ledge, 4m above the tree. I assume it's for rapping down to the tree. A job for CragX super-bolter ! |
