Route repair

Rod,
Is it practical to repair or reinforce holds before they break ? I noticed a crack along the top of the crux lip on the classic 'Tilt' at Narra Steep Side. After several attempts, I'd hate the thing to break off before I've completed it.

Re: Route repair

Ive done it before, as long as you think it will hold after the fix no probs...though it can look messy if it doesn't work.

Re: Route repair

Ive only ever glued along weaknesses but if its a flake flexing and metal rod glued in would definitely help.
