You roll to determine which you want to play, and it's set at a point level, and sometimes there are special rules involved. The points cost for each vehicle is in the book along with their stats. Setup depends on mission IIRC and the quote the book directly "A game involving 2 aircract may only take an hour to play, a larger game involving 12 will take several hours to complete" It looks fun. The movement works with a roll for initiative, then you pick a manuver. Who ever wins moves one aircraft, and the the other player moves one, then it's back to the winner ETC. Then there is shooting.
