Well i got circle orboros warpack, and the trollbloods warpack, so im a bit itchy to try em out. Also sell the circle warpack.
Anyone else interested, or actually play? Does anyone know of any warmachine or hordes groups that meet and play?

Cheers,

I saw a bunch of people at wizards tower barhaven playing I think warmachine one weekend when I was there trying to get my 2nd dark angels game in. Seemed like they had a league or the like going. Forget if it was a saturday or sunday.

In any army balance is the key to success. A commander who puts his faith in heavy weaponry alone will be outmanouvered. A commander who relies on close combat without support will lose his forces to enemy fire. Each element must work in harmony, so that the effectiveness of the army is greater then the sum of it's parts.

Try www.ottawawarmachineclub.com or something like that. They play (Warmachine and Hordes) at Wizard's Tower, but also at Fandom (sometimes).

There are a couple of 'Wizard's Towers' around Ottawa. The one referred to is located at Fallowfield & Woodroffe, which is a fairly nice place.

Does anyone know if the 95 Barhaven Center bus takes you to Wizards tower?

The 95 ends (at least most do, some end at Algonquin college) at the Fallowfield station just north of Wizard's Towers.

Re: Warmachine or Hordes players?

I've just start playing Menoth myself. Well, I've done a demo game with Cryx against Cygnar, but I have bought some Menoth figs, so my next game will be with them.

It seems the local club
plays Monday at Wizards Tower in Barhaven, and often Thurs and Fri nights at Fandom II. They do seasonal leagues and some tourneys too (one this month, in fact).

And as for the figs, Mike McVea (sp?) of GW fame has done a few, and may be quite involved in the look in general (speculation on my part, but I think he's been around since the beggining).

Mike McVey did indeed do some of the figs, and designed their paint line (which is excellent, by the way).
