It is a dark and grim future!
The year is 1995, a terrible future where in America, you race cars for money-fame and women (and 80's hair, but don't worry its the future-honest! Canada is a wasteland, Romania is huge empire (okay I made that one up, but it fits in with what 1995 might be like) (I was 6 :lol ![]() Anyways-a bit about the game. In 1982, Games Workshop released Dark Future-a racing game... to them, America and the world-would be in total hell in 1995 (yet still look like out of a Whitesnake video) but its not a really complicated game (and simple to get in on-build a car or a motorcycle, just 1) yes, they can have guns. the car can't be more then 3 inches wide or 5 long (this game has a track) making your car longer will not get you anymore ahead. No tanks-it has to be like a car, and its humans here, not Orks or Eldar or Tau (its 1995 not 401995 lol) http://www.specialist-games.com/veriants.asp the rules are there (the book is like 180 pages but they added all sorts of articles and stuff to it as well) Since its a one model deal be creative with your car or motorcycle, much as I am (My drivers, I called-Urmet Kaljuste and Tunne Rüütel, from Estonia-who now control the world's supply of spice) I will start this all up this fall, so read up and get those cars built ![]()

What scale are you doing your vehicle(s) in? I understand that Dark Future was originally intended for 1/72nd or so-called "20mm" scale. That doesn't prevent gaming at other scales, but it would be nice to have consistently-scaled vehicles in-game. Of course, a common diecast scale would be very convenient, e.g. 1:60, which would also make it possible to use repainted clicky and other figures with them.

its quite simple, you take like an orc buggy or bike (or space marine bike) or something that size
it has to have a human crew (like guardsmen-catachan preferably) what did you have in mind using (for example)

Here's another alternative, as done by the members of the FU!UK forum:
http://www.frothersunite.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13435 And using these free rules: http://www.mts.net/~gisby/kizo/kiki.htm |
