I was just reading FarseerBill's comments about what games count for the upcoming Slapfight For Forge Primus campaign, and I had the feeling I might want to try playing a little Inquisitor.
I don't mean a little Inquisitor. I mean, like, to play some of the game, but just a bit. I won't be painting a midget Inquisitor, thanks. Anyhow, would anyone else be into this? I would like to get one Inquisitor model, paint it up and get into the game. Thing is, it's a bit of a hassle because you really need three people at least (one being the GM), so it's not quite as straightforward as 40k... but? Anyone? If you think you might be into it and you're not a twerp (because I don't want to play with twerps), speak up!

I hope I'm not a thwerp but I'd be in. I already own two =I= models and own the rulebook. I'd be willing to GM too if I get to play once in a while.

I've got an -=I=- scale model of Tyrus (the Space Marine, iirc).
Now, from what I hear, using a Space Marine is absolutely terrible against anyone else, so I'm a little stand-offish of using him, not to mention that I'd rather wait on purchasing another model until I have a stable job. Input? Cheers, Lawrence.

Ya know, you CAN play inquisitor with normal 40K models? I've done it and had just as much fun. An option.

Yeah, my group did that once. It was pretty good. All you have to do is drop the scale by half (1" = 2 yards instead of one), and it all works out fine.

I'd be down with that. Trying Inquisitor with 40K scale models.

When we did it, we didn't even change the scale. Everything worked out fine.
A big benefit of using 40K scale models is that the necromunda and 40K terrain is already available.

In that case, if anyone wouldn't mind a walking me through a few demo games, I could grab up some of the stuff I have here.
Got an inquisitor, a kroot I could throw in, maybe a guardian. Throw a good ol' radical inquisitor into the mix and get my feet wet. Anyone willing to give it the ol' college try? (And no I don't mean get ridiculously drunk and pass out in a shopping cart downtown... *cough*) Cheers, Lawrence.

If anyone wants a hard copy of the rules, I have the book and will probably never get around to playing. Anyone interested?

Depending on the price I'd be interested. I'm trying to make a starting collection of all of GW's Specialist Games.

I got an Arbities Judge that has been sitting in a drawer that I've needed the motivation to paint up. I also have that psyker guy, (Navis Nobilitae). I was planning on getting into it but that lack of availability of models kinda put me off....

Just so you know, PhillSalter, this thread is over a year old... BUT... I know there are lots of folks here who could be talked into an Inquisitor game without too much coersion.
