I beat the Necrons!!! Twice!!!!!

Played two games last night with Quitimanes, 1000 pts each, Cleanse then Recon.

Both games my opponent was testing different things like using the Viel of Darkness to hop around the board, but in the end my minor Daemon prince and obliterators were more effective than Necron Lord and Immortals.

Robin is still getting a feel for the army though and that second game hinged on me getting a run of good luck like when both the one wound left Chaos Lord missed his attacks on the one wound left Necron Lord, but the necron lord missed as well.

Fun games, but if I were Rob I'd take a smaller Lord and smaller (but more of them) infantry squads next time to promote flexibility.

Ok well somebody must want to hear about my marvelous rolling! Uh yeah, that second game was FUBAR'd. I had one decent round of shooting when I took out the 4 heavies in the tower. Other than that, I think I killed 1-2 marines a round. I especially liked the immortals and their 18 shots, 12 hits, 1 wound, 1 saved wound at the end of turn 5 there. :pissed:

Warriors are minimum 10 per squad so in smaller games it gets difficult to spread them out much.

*gets out pad and pen to write a letter to robot wars requesting some useful strategy for 1" high bots*
