I'm good for 3,400 points.
however, much more than that and i'd have to go to 2 org charts. not because i'm trying to cheese out or anything, but because i'd run out of troops slots. and fast attack slots. and heavy slots, and most likely elite slots. I believe the most i've been able to get on one chart, maxing out some upgrades and such, was at around 3,700 points. oshovah -- i should have a couple of squads of fire warriors that i could bring that you could use. would that help?? |

I think I'd like to try my hand at the scenario if no one minds... Altough you could be the third party designing the secret missions.
So it would be something like this for the good guys: OshovahFarsight -Tau, 1 org, 2500 pts Glendor Mugantis -Tau, 1org, 3400 pts Jowicota -Biel Tan,2 org, 3850 pts Z'phindar -Biel Tan, 2 org, 3850 pts Total: 6 Organization Charts, 13600 pts.

i don't mind at all if you try your hand at the scenario.
in the other thread for table 1, al mentioned starting bright and early, etc. and trying to have the board mapped out and deployment zones marked as well. are we going to aim for that level of organization as well?? i'm thinking 13K per side is going to take a while to deploy as well as to play out, so the more organized we are as a table (without getting extreme about it) is probably better. anyway, i don't know how big the table is actually going to be, but if i can help in some way with terrain, etc., i will: a) make some b) finish some ruined buildings and such c) other if the need is there. i should be able to make some headway in the terrain department over the next 3 - 4 weeks if we've some idea of what we need. |

I am able to fill the 3400points( mike is lending me a few models) so all is good the way it was.

Hi All,
I think the more that we know beforehand the better, unless it ruins a scenario or secret mission. I am all for starting bright and early as well, you want me there @ 8:00 am, I'm there.  I have some terrain, battlemat and a folding table (good for 6x4) no leaning on it though  It is covered by foam boards and they will flip.I have trees that I am hoping to finish by then and a small industrial complex. It is usable at the moment but it based all black. Let me know if there is anything else we are short on or that needs bringing. Cheers, Sean. |

I have some terrain I'll try to have ready. I got one of those new Necromunda/40k cardboard building dealies they sell at St. Laurent, so I can contribute that (it's 3 big buildings, one small one and a... uh... door that stands out in the middle of nowhere. You can also link the big buildings by cardboard walkways if you want to). I have a bunch of 40k terrain that I can paint up for the match as well. I'll get back to you on it.

Yeah earlier the better!! I like the 8am idea. I'll be there around that time to give Dave a hand doing what needs doing .

all right. i'm gonna aim to be there for 8am anyways. if i get there early, i can chill and have a coffee or tea or somethin'. besides, if i'm aiming for 8, i know i'll be there for 9, and i'm thinking, given the bloody size of this event, every freakin' minute's going to count!
I've got a couple of 4X4s i can contribute -- i often just throw a hunter green sheet over it for the battlemat -- i don't have a table that they rest on (i usually just rig something at home), but if there's a need, i can bring them. who knows, maybe i'll pick up the leg assembly for these between now and then just in case......... oh yeah, are there chairs/couches in the party room, or should we be bringing some lawn chairs or something to sit on. i read jowicota's post and some of those survival things like sitting and eating might be good. are we just gonna pizza and pop/beer it, or should we *gasp* organize a bit of a potluck for this as well? just thought i'd ask the question. flame away. |

Dont get girly with the potluck thing!!!! the next thing you'll wanna do is having a knitting bee or somthin like that
!!! yeah theres plenty of seating, its byob and prolly order somthing in. as for tables and terrain bring what you can.

I'm currently working on our mission for this table. I hope you'll like it, I'm hoping to have it finished for the end of the week so you can give me some feedback before we adopt it as official. Then I'll let whoever is taking care of secret missions do his thing. Fallen you seemed interested in the job, think you can have a secret mission for every player on this table?
