Campaign Results

Here is the run down of the factions and how well they did.

Tyranids: Recording a solid victory, the Tyranid faction was small in numbers but powerful in victories. Notching the second most number of wins with the third smallest faction, they were unstoppable in conquering planets throughout the sub-sector.

While part of their success was due to the fact that no one had a real reason to stop them, it cannot be ignored that they played and won games at an amaxing rate.

Eldar: Another small faction that dominated the winner's board, they succeeding in reporting almost as many wins as the Nids. Half of the Eldar wins were reported by Zphindar, impressive in of itself, especially considering their objectives changes a couple times throughout the campaign.

Imperials: They had the largest faction and it showed as they posted the most number of wins by almost twice as much as the next closest faction. They succeeded in controlling the core worlds of Reagali, Harsaded, and Locara as well as the important western worlds of Tristram and Ferus Secondus. They failed to forge a route through Hollin's World due to ferocious Eldar resistance, and they failed to relieve the besieged defenders of Pax Everasis. Not to mention many smaller systems and potential colony worlds were consumed by the Tyranids.

All in all, the sub-sector has been taken under control but will not be as prosperous as before the war.

Congrats to the Imperial players who won 103700 pts (!) worth of games.

Chaos: Big faction, few wins. The upside is that the few wins they did post tended to be big wins worth lots of points. The downside is that they failed to maintain the pressure long enough to hold the Imperials back. With 38 wins they almost earned as many points worth as Eldar with 64 wins. Litsa remains as the only significant system under Chaos control, while Kyuit is contested.

Dark Eldar: With only 2 active members, they still managed to make some noise and succeed in running off with the ancient Eldar Artifact called the Crystal Spear. Expect for a special scenario this fall to be called to fight over this precious weapon.

Tau: After the campaign started I asked the Tau to provide some resistance to the Tyranids. Tough task but they valiantly tried. Another small faction, they managed to establish some small outposts and aided the Eldar in their task to keep worlds from becoming 100%.

Orks: Or should I say Ork? Joyous_Oblivion abandoned the Ork cause for the Imperial one after it became obvious other Ork players weren't up to the task. Garp joined just after and faced a hostile sub-sector with no allies. Still, he single-handedly posted 10 victories and established a few ork pirate bases in the eastern systems that were ignored by chaos and imperial forces.

Necrons: The smallest faction consisting of one player, not much was heard from this force. They did activate one of the three hidden necropolii, and will be raiding fleets for years to come, but they failed to make much of an impact beyond that. Still, it is said that the ships they do raid are often found with crude scratches on the walls that look like "We'll get you in Gahmorra!!!"

Re: Campaign Results

I'm sure Inquisitor Kelarran can be convinced to write up a report, but for non-imperial fluff you'll have to write it yourself. :thumbgreen:
