I'm working on a re-match mission for Imperial revenge on Chaos. The basis will be similar to that of the last Mega Battle, but still different.
I'm thinking more of a cross than a T for the table Multiple objectives: each player will choose from a pool of objectives Still lots of city, but maybe not all city Larger depolyment zones I strongly suspect a Saturday will be best for me. Like July 10 or 24 or 25 (Sunday). June 26 may be too early, eh?

If it's in mid to late July sometime, there is a smiddling chance that I can make it up to Ottawa to participate.

Sundays work best for me. I am also free a couple of days during the week, but those vary for me. If the battles do become as big as they did last time, we need to make sure that the deployment zones are very wide, and maybe not necessarily so deep. I don`t mind having to run 4 feet to get into combat, even though I was totally shot up before I got there... I just want to make sure we have a wide enough line of advance that I can feel a little safer advancing, knowing that not all of the big guns have lined them selves up to shoot right down the middle/only path to advance along.

Sounds good Al!
If you need any help organizing/designing let me know. I too think a Sunday works best, and Dave's party room is a good deal. As for deployment/terrain, a "cross" table would work well, and perhaps a lot closer (only say 36"-48" apart). Deepstrike and infiltrators are great as well. Reserves are alright on account of the amount of points, although it might be better to have everything avalible, reserves by choice, perhaps all reserves could come out in a better spot then the inital deployment (therefore putting some of your forces in reserve actually may be advantageous! Some idea's off the top (regarding the mission/fluff of it all): An Imperial assault on an Chaos fort.(chaos would take a points reduction for the appropriate fort upgrade...could be cool, with stationary turrets, bunkers and obsticles... A take and hold/carnage (as carnage, but with teams) Starport assault (as chaos fort, but not so dug in) |

Right then. Good to hear from you all.
The date will be Sunday July 25, 11ish (am). At Dave's Party room if possible. I'd like an 8' table with J.O. 3'4 stuck on for the short cross sections or a 6' or 8' table combined with two 4' ends. Please repost with your total pts (unpainted) for one org. chart and again for a second org. if you have one {give a range if you can} Al Sol Templar and Daemon Hunters 3500+ one org. chart 4500+ two org. charts
