Ok, so, I don't know if the objectives are perminant (hopefully they arn't since they arn't ballenced in the slightest), but, our mission is going to be basicaly trying to take systems. On the up side, as far as I understand the rules, we don't need to protect systems once they get to 100%, which should make our lives easier, and endorse a type of blitzkreg campaign.
To achieve this goal, I suggest we all set up on a smaller, uninhabited system first, and hit it with a lot early, attempting to get to 100% before other players/forces can respond. We would then all move, sector by sector, to the next target, saving battles when we are between targets and posting them all once we have reached the new destination. Repeat until the entire sector is cleansed... Suggested targets (in order): Sexus Alethra Omega Joclay Pii Olympia Placidica Hollin's World Of course, these systems are subject to change depending on player allocation/other factors. Basicaly, we are looking primarily for planets that have high population ratings, few players already there, and if possible start with both imperial and chaos control. What do you think? |

For some reason, my starting system is Kiuyt..
I see no problem with your plans, I just hope we are not spread out too far on initial deployment to assist each other in wiping out one planet at a time. A definite concentrated effort will aid us in getting our goals. which to me seem a little steep for 3 players, but who am I to complain, at least this gives me incentive to paint and play way more than often. Cheers |

Actualy, I was hoping that everybody would be able to start on the same system, which we are able to do.
Currently, I would suggest all tyranid players start on Sexus, as that location seems the best place for the jump off. Don't worry if you are currently locating someplace else, I think we will be able to replace ourselves before the campaign starts, or, at the very least we could all move there before the fighting starts. |

what would happen if I were to suddenly acquire a BFG Tyranid Fleet? Since I didn't sign up for it yet. But I have been thinking about it...
It's not for sure yet, but it would definitely be fun to play, and would help out the bugs vastly. Just a thought. Cheers, Lawrence. |

BFG is going to definatly be a good way to sway percentages, being that each game is worth triple that of a 40k game of equal points.
Personaly, I have about 4000+ points of BFG, maybe we could try to coax the imperials/chaos into a big BFG mega-battle? A 4000 point game would shift an uninhabited sector by about 24%, even if the players weren't in the system. And who cares if we lose! Remember, start in Sexus when the campaign starts! Victory for the Hivemind! |

I've just started a thread with regards to starting location, so I'll be moving my start location to Sexus.
Cheers Chris |

That's what I was thinking, but since I started the damn thread, I couldnt wait too long I thought. I'll put money that Glendor Murgantis will move to Sexus, he and I tend to play the most anyways. We'll see.
Now back to painting my bugs. |

Well, we seem to be lucky that there are actualy very few players in our AREA, what wonderful news... I'm actualy thinking that we could go after the forge world ferrus secondous after sexus... I mean, it's right there.. and undefeneded,
we'll see how it goes. |
