Bunker Assault - Mega-Battle

Well, I put that up in the main forum(the challenge), already we have lots of takers!

So we have myself, Dead & Manchester so far, with G.Henshini with atentitive.

I think the Imps(if they think about it) have a decent shot at this, as those bunkers are worth tons in big battles. If they are at all indecisive, we will annihilate them!

Could someone post the particulars on Bunker assault(both att/Def).

we start with hq and troop choices on the board the rest are in reserve. there is deep strike, infiltrate, prelim bombardment, reserves, victory points and bunkers. the bunkers are worth the game divided by the number of them. so if we use 5 bunkers they are worth 2500pts each. the bunker must be occupied and no scoring units within 6. the attacker starts with everything on the board. we can start 18" up and they start 12" up. beware orbital strikes.

I haven't nailed everything down yet, but you can expect :

Lord on Horse
4 * 8 man zerk squads
8 Bloodletter

Fill what ever points I have left with rhinos, dread, that sort of thing....

We all know that chaos does good in mega battles by getting down and dirty with the enemy. We should do the same thing as always and attack!
The Tau will be thier anchor in shooting so if we can assult them that will unhinge them.
The Necrons will be a target priority as if we can phase then out early that's 2,500 pts in our pocket.
Watch out for deepstriking Monolith, droppod, battlesuits, and Greyknights.

don't expect fire support from me this time round i was thinking the same as ryan and am going assault heavy. remember hq and troops start on the board, everything else is in reserve

I like the idea of all of you assault heavy, is there going to be any Grey Knights? I would say Al would not bring them(I think he has learned!). Carca in the middle! Deepstrike those Termies! Demons to the fore!!!

Reminder: Bunker assault defenders only have 1 HQ, 2 Elites, and 1 Fast.
Stock up on troops so you get to set them up from the beginning.

hey dave do you have an elite choice for that army? blitz attackers are required one hq and one elite otherwise it looks like you'll be manning a bunker

well i might as well as tell you guys seeing how the red shirts spilt the beans to the enemy, i'm gonna be fielding 27 terminators in two units one with a chaos lord. let's see them move that off a bunker, that's if i can get them in it.
