Locara Reloaded

I'd like to talk to you about a campaign. It's been a while and I'd really enjoy seeing one get underway.

Off the top of my head, here are some suggestions. I'd like to hear yours as well.

- Campaign will begin at Game Summit Winter Skirmish 2009 (Mar 1) and end at Game Summit Fall Skirmish 2009 (September or October). There will be one campaign-centric event in the early summer. The beginning and end points being at Game Summit will allow for a huge number of games to be played in a short amount of time in one place where there are tons of tables and players.

- All GW 40k Universe games are allowable, i.e. Warhammer 40,000, Epic and BFG.

- Some custom campaign-specific lists may be made for this campaign. I'll get to that more later.

Talk to me. I'm not promising that I'll use all your ideas, but I promise to carefully consider them.

I think its a great idea.

With respect to starting it at Game Summit there may be some logistics to work out since campaign games usually have some narrative purpose and fit in to a larger plan with benefits/consequences for the winner/loser. This may not work so well in a random tournament format unless the tourney and campaign will be separately run events. If they are separate, making us choose between tourney and campaign 40k awesomeness is just mean - I'd want to do both!

Don't despair, Ebiniser! Game Summit will run from roughly 9 AM till the wee hours. HoH will only make up maybe 7-8 hours of the day... and 40k HoH will only be one day of two. So you can still manage to get lots of other games in!
