Deathwing assault? its ok, Marines get it for drop pods: Bikes as troops? No problem, just take a captain on bike! Special ammo for whirlwinds? No worries, Marines get em too. Honestly, why would they screw over dark angels so horribly compared to what regular marines are going to get? 'But what about blood angels players?' ok, you want veteran assault squads marines? sure np, marines get em too. how bout 6 close combat dreadnoughts? Marines only now, sorry BA players. Tigurius looks to be better than Mephiston. Terrible. Unless they update the DA and BA lists with this release, I think GeeDub has utterly dropped the ball here, balance wise. I don't want to be characterized as an anti-Marine evangelist (and indeed I'm not - I happen to think Marines are awesome), but I'm trying to figure out how I'll get a foothold on armies who put these rules into their fullest effect and I'm kinda worried about it. ---
