And they carry 12 models. Its a PAIN in the *** model to assmble though. Not rocket science, but dry fit, and use blue tack to help. Plus you can see straight through them when the doors are open, but mine will have them glued shut.

dont glue them shut!!! thats lame, as you're lose all that fantastic detail inside. I spoke with Chris about this. Just use some plasticard to make walls on the inside

IMHO you shouldnt glue the doors shut due to the ability to line up shots with whatever your carrying and keep a cover save handy for retaliation. Unless of course true line of sight doesnt count in this case:wink:

I agree that the doors shouldn't be glued... though my opinion shouldn't count for much, as my "scratch builds" don't open at all...

Re: drop pod = huge

There's not much fantastic detail inside. Mostly its harnesses etc... The ONLY reason I'd be glueing it shut is simply laziness. Line of sight, meh... that's not an issue with me, as I tend not to play as a douche (if/when I play)

thats why im saying dont glue them shut, dont be lazy. Thats lame. Its not the detail thats cool, its the fact the doors come open that's cool. In a game based on models, why not get the most from one the coolest ones??

I'm gluing mine shut. Maybe every third one (if i buy that many) will be able to open.

I'll use the interior fiddly bitz for something else...

Re: drop pod = huge

Put my first one together on Sunday. A bit of a pain getting the top piece on and hence the trouble with the doors. I'm leaving them open though because it looks cooler on the table to see them with doors open and marines jumping out. Plus the doors look straighter open than closed anyway. Overall, I like it.

Re: drop pod = huge

If you where to glue em shut u might as well make some cheap drop pods made of cardboard and plasticard....thats why they came out with the models so they could be good center pieces to a drop pod army....like imma have to buy 6 of those to convert into Death Claws...and yeah An00bis...my doors will be able to open and close!
