does anyone know what's happening with that old rumor about the Eldar/Dark Eldar Megacodex? has that for sure been stopped yet or...? has anyone heard anything?

They said: "We'd love to do that, but it is evident that it would be impossible". People reading/spreading rumours heard or focused on "We want to do that."
I forget who said that but he tried to remind people of what he said at first, people seem to have heard a confirmation that that was happening... then they just dowright denied it. So there was never a question of a mega-codex with eldar, harlies, exodites, pirates and dark eldar. It was just a developper saying that he'd love to see it but that it would never happen.

ahh.. gotcha... so are the codexes going to come out years apart or has there been any info out on that yet?

Apparently preliminary work has started on the eldar one. But its still a while away. Harlequins should follow as a chapter approved article. Again this is wishful thinking from a developper, so not a guarantee. I should take note of their names.
 As well the same guy mentioned wanting to re-work the background and fluff to the dark eldar as well as rethink their list. He mentionned the fact that the tiny codex of the time were far from being the best for developping a whole new race. As for exodite and pirates, no othermention. So I'm thinking codex eldar will come out, then Harlies will follow as a CA artcle during the hype. If I remember well he did mention that no new models would be made for them.
