I have a Mac, I have a Linux laptop. I love them both. I never miss Windows. That's just me. If someone else uses Windows and doesn't want to part with it, then they have their reasons. I say this because most system explosions are caused by power surges or hardware failures. Your chance of either depends far more on the quality of system than the type of system.
