How is NPD diagnosed? By this I mean through testing, observations, family history etc. Is NPD ever the first thing that is tested for or do they usually begin with something easy, like depression? How long does the diagnosis process last?To what extent is family input on behavior and history sought taken into consideration? Is there an age limit for someone receiving a diagnosis of NPD? Are drugs ever effective with treating this disorder? What method of therapy seems to do the most good?
