"The Secret in healing Narcissism is not to heal it at all, but to listen to it. Narcissism is a signal that the soul is not being loved sufficiently. The greater the Narcissism, the less love being given." ~ Thomas Moore, 'Care of the Soul'.

Healing becomes possible when all parties in a relationship come to see each other as co-creators of the relationship rather then attacker, and victim.

    Bach Flower Therapy?? ( 22:57:47 WedJan 26 2005 )

Has anyone here ever heard of Bach Flower Therapy? I came across it while looking for attitudinal healing resources. I don't think it has anything directly to do with what I was looking for, other than if you follow enough links you wind up here. It talks a lot about narcissism on the page that lead me to this flower therapy. I'm curious what folks think.

If you get the idea I'm desperate all I can say is you are SO right.

I've never heard of this but just from reading I'm very intrigued. It seems to go a long with a lot of what we're talking about in this community. I want to take time to do some more reading.

    Thanks!

I found this to be an interesting read.
I guess I am at the place, on page 2, where it talks about what happens when you do not choose fight or flight because I could definitely relate to some of that. I expressed my anger all along, which is choosing fight, I guess, however with nothing ever being resolved, I stacked the pain as well, and I was physically affected with body ailments. It's interesting to me because some of my abuse was sexual in nature and my physical ailments affected my reproductive organs first. I came to the conclusion then, that my h & I, literally,. made each other sick, so this article kind of sheds some light on how that might be possible.
I also read the Harmony Bet'n. Body & Mind article that it links to and found that interesting as well because it talks about the true and false selfs. I'd be curious to hear a pders take on this.

I have been using the bach flowers emotional rescue. I do believe it has helped. It's one of many tools...meditation, education, excercise, ect. I can tell a difference especially if I get agitated, and don't have it avaiable. I use www.turtlemoonherbs.com There is a questionaire you can use to determine what blend would meet your needs. As I progress in healing, my needs change so the blend I use changes. Using a good herbalist for this is important. I don't think I would of tried it without a good relationship w/ the herbalist...
