Re: Household environment tips

Instead of aerosol sprays for odor control around the house, volcanic pumice found at a big box home supply store works wonders for absorbing odors. It comes prebagged in a mesh. Just place a few bags around the house and one or two in your car and voila!! hey absorb odor till they can no more.

Instructions on the label say to reactivate, simply place in direct sunlight for a day!

No indoor air pollution and no empty cans!

Re: Household environment tips

Well, since I purchase carbon offsets I can pollute all I want. I throw cheesburger wrappers out the window. I run my engine outside for no reason at all. I poop on the lawn. I spray aerosols all the time outside, because I am cold during the winter. I fly around on private jets constantly. I take three hour showers. I leave all the lights on in my house 24 hours a day. But hey, I purchase offsets. So I am guilty free!!

When are you going to learn how big a scam this is?

Re: Household environment tips

The most common carbon offset is planting a tree. So do you plant the tress you buy or was your post just a hypothetical reaction to a serious issue? I kinda feel its the latter. I wonder when you're going to become a responsible member of the planet instead of a burden on the rest of us.
I planted over an acre of blackberries and grew them for over 10 years. I'd make about 6 or 7 thousand dollars a summer on them. I've given it up because I can put two horses on that acre and make more money off the rent then actually producing something that people love.
If we'd get rid of cheap labor prices for things like berries would rise and more would get planted. Plus people could supplement their social security while providing the community with fresh produce at a reasonable price. But instead corporate will prevails and we got the worlds poor here now being used like slaves.
