Revised/Current Courses?

Does anyone know if Psychology, US History, and English I Composition and Grammar have been revised within the last year and a half?

I'm not quite ready to register ds, but would like to get a "jump" on these three courses with him by using dd's books from last year.

TIA!

I just enrolled in the American school, and the Psychology for Life Today book that i am using is copyrighted 2002. so they might have changed some things.

dd's history & Ess. math were 1997 printing, Gen Sci. was 1998, and Psychology also 1998. Ds's are all 2001 printing and Ess. math was 2000. They are a little different. Charts are updated, a paragraph may be worded differently or deleted all together. Noticed that some pictures are different. Also a few questions on the exams have been different.

Thanks for the information.

If all they did was reprint/revise the courses, keeping the same books, ds should be OK working out of dd's books and then transfering answers to the exams in the his books when he gets them.

I just want to be sure AS hasn't changed books entirely...like with Algebra I.

Thanks!

Just keep and eye out for the different questions on the exams when you transfer over the answers:wink:

I just thought I'd let you know that we spoke with AS about some ALG. I problem and that we were alittle displeased with the book and they said that we had just missed the cut off when they changed the ALG. book. The title to ours is Modern Alg., I'm not sure what they use now.

Re: Revised/Current Courses?

My dd had the old Algebra I course. They have completely replaced that course, so ds will not work out of dd's Algebra I book at all. Currently ds is using Math-U-See's Basic Algebra and Geometry and I want him to finish that before taking AS's Algebra I.
