Jill Carroll as you are probably aware is a freelance journalist from Boston working for the Christian Science Monitor. She was abducted while on her way to a meeting with a prominent Islamic religious figure in Baghdad on January 6th this year and she's been held hostage now for 80 days, and it has been at least 48 days since anything was last heard from her kidnappers to indicate she was still alive and well. To this day we don't know where Jill is and if she will be released unharmed.
