Cooking Times/Lobster & Shellfish

Suggested cooking times for Lobster and Shellfish Boiling Lobsters

Enough water to cover & 1 tablespoon of salt per quart of water.

Bring water to boil and add lobster(s)
After water returns to a boil, cook lobster(s) as follows:

SIZE TIME
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. 10 - 12 minutes
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. 15 - 18 minutes
2 1/2 to 5 lbs. 20 - 25 minutes
6 to 10 lbs. 25 - 35 minutes
10 to 15 lbs. 35 - 40 minutes

Hard shell lobsters will take about 5 minutes
per pound longer to cook.

(Bake at 350 degrees)

1 1/4 lb. 15-18 min.
1 1/2lb. 18-22 min.
2 lb. 25-27 min.
