Assume that you share a child {or children} with someone. Would you stay together for the sake of your child{ren} even if you no longer love the other person? What would be the exception?

Well i can say from parents stayin together longer than they should for the sake of the children its a no go call it quits. The worst sound to hear is ur parents arguing everynite loudly and loud enough that your neighbors call the police and then you havin to be strong for your little sisters. Then you have to pick sides about which parent you like the most and both parents are goin to try to out do each other it is just a big thing all around.

I agree with Lady, if you are unhappy in a relationship and if that relationship is negative, it will adversely affect the children. Children will feed off of that. I say get out while you can.

Yeah get out and stay out, it will hurt at first, but the kids will get over it, when they get 2 Christmas', 2 sets of birthday gifts, etc...especially if one parent feels guilty, they will get spoiled at the end. So eventually it works out for everyone.

I think back in the days, it would've sucked! But nowdays, you are not "cool" unless your parents are broken up! I mean, it's a good thing that we celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day on different days. I think we should do the same for Children's day. We should definitely have a day for first born's. I think us special first born's get jipped out of gifts when they lump every kid into children's day. HUMMMMPH! What was the topic again?

I agree wit Mi the first born has to deal wit everything we cant go anywhere or do anything were so precious. Prom is a big deal, graduation is a big deal, your 18 birthday is a big deal. But its like three years from now when my youngest sister is 18 my dad goin to be tired and give her more room than he ever gave me. I want my day and gifts for being the first child/first girl and that is a double negative.
