As to the thread topic, it was Cece who got me hooked onto Simon & Garfunkel. Also, I do like Simon & Garfunkel because their music is soothing, their music makes me feel nostalgic, and because I just do. And, yeah, if older adults give me grief for liking Simon & Garfunkel - well, I think it's safe to say that it wouldn't exactly deter me from liking Simon & Garfunkel.

 Also, Tangie, I don't think having a Hip forum here is really a good idea. I'm also half-inclined to suggest that the Led Zeppelin forum isn't such a good idea, either. I mean, it would be nice if all Zep fans and all Hip fans could bond together over a common interest and get along with each other - but, unfortunately, that isn't the case. It seems that the only time that all Zep fans or all Hip fans are able to bond is when dealling with a Zep hater or a Hip hater - and, even then, that's disputable. Besides, once the Zep hater or Hip hater leaves - then it's back to anomosity with each other.

It most certainly is not 'because my friends do' - since none are as hardcore about Simon and Garfunkel as I am.
