However, the Garfunkelheads here really do have a way with Simon and Garfunkel. I don't know if you associate Simon and Garfunkel with nostalgia - but I know some of the others here do. Then again, maybe a lot of teens aren't too big on nostalgia. Anyway, maybe a lot of teens do find Simon and Garfunkel's music to be a boring and sleep-inducing. I guess you have to have the right attitude in order to appreciate Simon and Garfunkel. Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd are popular in our school, though - as is The Tragically Hip. I live in the Buffalo area, which borders Canada, so The Hip is pretty big around here. --- THE TRAGICALLY HIP ROCK N RULE!!

It's really not hard to see why you guys like Simon and Garfunkel. Simon and Garfunkel can a very nostalgic duo - especially if you've heard them a lot as a child. That being said, though, I guess I can understand why others may find Simon and Garfunkel to be boring. They're really not my usual style. I tend to prefer the more upbeat classic rock music - but Simon and Garfunkel are nice. At our school, people don't really care what kind of music you listen to. Many at our school have fairly eclectic tastes, in fact. Actually, you're more likely to get made fun of for liking Britney Spears at our school - than for liking Simon and Garfunkel. Anyhow, yeah, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd are very popular at our school. You fact, there are lots of kids in our school who wear the t-shirts. April Wine and Simon and Garfunkel are both somewhat popular at our school - but not as popular. Oh, yeah, and The Tragically Hip have a fairly large following in our school, as well. None of them share my passion, though. That's okay, though, because I like having something of my own to enjoy. I don't like the idea of something I like being super-popular. I know this may seem a bit selfish, but I was never one to follow trends. I mean, I wouldn't stop liking Simon and Garfunkel if it was suddenly cool to like them - but I would feel as if my sense of identity has somewhat diminished. Know what I mean? ---
