It's looks like most of the members here live in Canada, like me. I see we have a few British members here, as well. I'm just wondering whereabouts you all live.

 One thing that's so ironic about this board is the the majority of the Simon and Garfunkel fans here are Canadian - while the majority of the Tragically Hip fans here are American. Of course, some of them are also Canadian Wannabes - so liking the Tragically Hip pretty much goes with the territory. As for me, I can't say I really care much for the Hip. I love Simon and Garfunkel, along with Led Zeppelin and April Wine.

Also, Retro Chico is right on about what she said, regarding Simon and Garfunkel fans vs Tragically Hip fans. I happy to like both The Tragically Hip and Simon and Garfunkel - but I like the Tragically Hip more. Other than my family and friends (BobCaygeon, little_miss_downie, and TragicallyHippette) and me - the only other Canadian here who seems to be a hardcore Hip fan is debbey. One sentiment that many of the members here have is: you don't have to be a Canadian in order to like The Tragically Hip - and you also don't have to like The Tragically Hip in order to be a good Canadian. Anyway, sorry for rambling on like this. I've never seen Simon and Garfunkel in concert - but I think it really would be nice to see them in concert, sometime. Keep Hipping!

May I ask why you wish you lived in Canada, Haven? Don't get me wrong, I love living in Canada - but I think the US is a great country, too. I have some relatives who live in the States.

I didn't vote, since I'm not really a hardcore Simon and Garfunkel fan. I live in the United States, near the Canadian border - and I spend lots of time in Canada. I also go to Canada for two months every summer, since my dad lives there. Anyway, I think it's so nice living so close to the border.
