A man spoke with the Lord about Heaven and Hell. "I will show you Hell," said the Lord. And they went into a room which had a large pot of stew in the middle. The smell was delicious and around the pot sat people who were famished and desperate. All were holding spoons with very long handless which reached to the pot, but because the handles of the spoons were longer than their arms, it was impossible to get the stew into their mouths. Their suffering was terrible.
"Now I will show you Heaven," said the Lord, and they went into an identical room. There was a similar pot of stew and the people had the same identical spoons, but they were well nourished, talking and happy. At first the man did not understand. "It is simple," said the Lord. "You see, they have learned to feed each other."

Well, it's like my paternal grandma has always said. Hell is how you make it. In that case, same circumstances - different ways of coping with it.

Well, that's pretty much what Debbey has been telling us. Hell is just a state of mind - and we create our own hells. Karma, perhaps? What exactly is karma, anyway?

This is a 'Typical Judaism Scene' Note: Hell comes from Christian Faiths… Christianity created Hell… a scare tactic perhaps Hell is non-existent in Judaism, Budhism and how many more 'Faiths' Cheers!

Yeah, and Christianity came from Judaism. You have a good point, Debbey! It is funny how Christians (and Muslims) believe in hell, but not Jews. Yeah, it has to be a scare tactic.

Yeah, I have a really big problem with organized religions that say 'unbelievers' will be tormented forever after death. Grrr, don't even get me started on that!

Thank you for not taking offence to my statement! I really don't like putting down, or talking negatively about any 'Faith'…
TragicallyHipper, was trying to post some stuff on 'Hell'… Some of you are into 'out of body experiences'… Well… I am not really… into this… other than… Some do have 'Near Death Experiences'… These are the people who think they have seen 'Hell' TragicallyHipper, had a problem posting her articles… and some how one segment was split and made the topic header by an 'Unknown Guest'… It was very strange… This part of the article TragicallyHipper was trying to post was dealing with people who have 'Near Death Experiences'… I am sure you have all heard of 'The Light' sort of at the end of the tunnel… Well, I guess, people (spirits) who fear death and are restless… get confused about 'The Light'… and interpret the light as being 'The Fires of Hell'… Sooooo! Live a fairly honest life, I mean it's human nature, to slip once and while… So, when you do die, you have no guilt… Die peacefully, and then you realize your biggest fear 'Hell' only exists in your mind… Evil Thoughts, Evil Deeds… Leads to thoughts of 'Hell'… 'Rise above The Evil'… Be at Peace!  Cheers!

I don't like to put down anyone's faith, either. However, religion is one of the biggest reasons for many of the world's problems, especially Christianity and Islam. It's not to say that atheists can't be violent people, too. I mean, look at the USSR. The government there accepted nothing but atheism, and persecuted all of those who were religious. That isn't right, either.
