Yeah, Carrie Anne is one of the very few hits from the era when Graham Nash was with The Hollies.

That tune was after he d left Rene; Nash felt the bands top 40 direction at the time was too constraining for him.

Oh, yeah, a lot of songs from the 70s bring back memories for me. It has absolutely nothing to do with the lyrical content of the songs - it's simply because I've heard those songs a lot, as a kid.
