Re: entry forms

Dear Mr. Verson 2,

You stuck your foot in your mouth last year about registration. I would think you would not want to do it again. We gave you quite a break this year and then you come along and make a remark like this. The entry forms have been delayed because we had to learn what some of our costs would be for 2013. We have done our best to make sure that we could have the event without raising fees. Guess we should have just bumped up the fees so that the entry forms would be available and make you happy. They are being reviewed now and will be on the site early next week.

Re: entry forms

Mr. Nice Could you tell us enquiring minds what if any changes might be made with the Loup2Loup? Just wondering if you will have more speed classes, more entrants, etc. Only 11 months and 1 week away...

Re: entry forms

Dear Mr_Ralph Dennison,

I believe the L2L will accept up to 80 entries for 2013. Here are class breakdowns:

LOUP 2 LOUP OPEN ROAD RACE

75, 80, & 85 mph $225

90, 95, 100, & 105 mph $275

110 mph $300

Navigator $50

Re: entry forms

Mr. Nice I am impressed with the speed classes. Sounds like the Halsey/Perdum folks are really going after it. May I expect that the technical speeds will also be adjusted? The faster classes would seem to need higher tech speeds than 120. And what about experience requirements in the higher speed classes? Target speeds of 100 and above will require some impressive driving!

Re: entry forms

Dear Mr. W_Kuiper,

The first L2L showed us that some higher speed classes could be added. I believe that the 105 and 110 will have a tech speed of 130 and that the 110 and also maybe the 105 will be restricted to veterans of the 2012 L2L 95 class. This is not official but I believe I am close.

Re: entry forms

I made a joke mrnice. We can't turn them in before then, so they aren't needed now anyway. I looked back, and those comments were also jokes. I guess that I should have used a smiley face. It's too bad that the board can't handle rule updates as quick as the entry forms. I'm still waiting for a contact back from someone for almost a year? now. Light a fire under that guy!

Re: entry forms

Dear Mr. Verson 2,

I apologize for taking your comment too seriously. We are doing our best to post the entry forms up as soon as possible but have run into a couple of questions that have to addressed. The questions involve two issues that require a board vote. We are having a meeting tomorrow of the SORC BOD and will do our best to post the forms on Wednesday.

I do not have the authority to answer your rule update question but will remind them of your question. Sorry, I don't know how to start a fire.

Re: entry forms

Hello, do we know what the rule breakdown will be for the L2L yet as far as requirements for roll bars and harnesses? I think last year there was a L2L speeds rules = SORC speed rules statement made. Thanks.

J
