Does anyone know if cars with automatics have participated in the course? |

Yes,
Automatic transmissions are used by many cars in ORR. At the higher speeds attained in some of the other ORRs, trans coolers are needed. With the relatively lower speeds at the SORC, a cooler should not be needed. This is from a guy with a manual so if any of you "auto" guys disagree, please speak up. Charlie Friend |

I run an auto with a cooler and a custom low stall converter. Switching to a full manual valve body with ratchet shifter this year.
Generally, heat is the biggest issue with autos. If you have any concerns with your particular application, add a cooler. It's cheap and easy. |
